robinia-pro SUPPORTS for peonies, dahlias, and other perennials

This is a lovely and practical support for peonies, dahlias, and other perennials that will bring you much joy.

This is primarily due to the robinia wood from which the support rods are made. It is by far the most durable and strongest native wood - see Properties of Robinia Wood. It lasts many years without chemical treatment. It is only treated with pure linseed oil, which further increases its longevity.

The supports for peonies, dahlias, and other perennials consist of 4 robinia wood rods that are driven into the ground in a square around the plant, and elastic hollow cord that is threaded through the rods at 2 to 3 heights around the plant. The length of the included hollow cord – color green, Ø 3 mm – is eight times the chosen rod length, which is sufficient in any case.

For the hollow cord, the rods have holes spaced 8 cm apart, alternately oriented in one direction or the other (crosswise). The hole diameter of 7 mm allows for the hollow cord and even thicker cord to be easily threaded through.

The pointed ends make it easy to drive the rods into the ground, and the points retain their shape because robinia wood is so hard.

The supports for peonies, dahlias, and other perennials harmonize exceptionally well. Wood simply matches plants best. The slim octagonal profile of the rods has style. The elastic hollow cord allows the plant some freedom and remains unobtrusive.
