Robinia wood is perfectly suited for a wall trellis. On one hand, it is more durable than any other native wood and also surpasses commercially available other woods (see Robinia wood). Additionally, our Robinia wood is deeply treated with pure linseed oil. This further increases its durability. The wall trellis made of Robinia wood will thus last a lifetime.

Robinia wood is also the strongest of all native woods, much stronger than ash or oak. Therefore, the trellis rods can be elegantly designed as an octagonal profile of 3 x 3 cm. The special U-shape of the rod ends ensures their stable interlocking. The screws for connecting the rods and for attaching them to the wall are made of stainless steel, so they last as long as the Robinia wood.

The wall trellis has spacers at both its upper and lower ends, through which the wall trellis is screwed to the wall with some distance (see image in gallery). The tall wall trellises (165 cm and 192 cm) also have these spacers in the middle of the vertical main rods running to the right and left. Using adjustment bolts in the spacers, the distance can be individually set in a range of 6.5 to 9.5 cm, so that the wall trellis hangs perfectly vertical and rests without tension at all points. (In practice, hardly any wall is completely even and vertical.)

The height of the grid levels is 27 cm. The distance between the vertical rungs is similarly much, but varies depending on the overall width of the grids.

Our wall trellis is a system solution. The widths are stepped in 9 cm increments, and the heights in 27 cm increments. If your desired trellis exceeds the maximum offered dimensions – width 123 cm, height 192 cm - simply combine several trellises together. For example: If your wall has a width of 2.3 m and a height of 3.2 m, your trellis could consist of two wall trellises B 114 x H 111 cm (arranged at the bottom) and two wall trellises B 114 x H 192 cm (arranged at the top). Other combinations and arrangements are also possible. Which combination and arrangement is best for you depends on the proportions of your wall, its layout with windows, doors, projections, etc., as well as the design of the surroundings.

We deliver the wall trellis as a kit. This allows for a favorable price, as packaging effort and transport costs are saved. Required screws (TORX), universal plugs, and a small TORX key are included in the delivery.
